“Rumyantsev Readings — 2021”: Traditional Directions of Research and Search for the New Forms of Library Activity

On April 21—23, 2021, the Russian State Library (RSL) hosted International scientific and practical conference “Rumyantsev Readings”, which is one of largest annual library events. The traditionally raises issues preserving studying world cultural heritage, promotes intercultural interaction. In it covered a wide range theory practice science, bibliography bibliology. participants are specialists libraries all levels, from federal to municipal, various departmental subordination, museums, archives, higher educational institutions research institutes 19 regions Russia, as well Republic Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Lithuania Uzbekistan. Broadcasting meetings, holding number sections round tables both in face-to-face zoom-conference format, significantly increased audience coverage. Rumyantsev Readings attracted highest remote (2,427 connections), that determined relevance modern conditions.
